What do you love about riding?

Riding on two wheels so close to your surroundings is just an incredible feeling. I love to ride different bikes to see the different behaviour on the road, track or dirt and progress my riding skills as I only started riding two years ago. Also the fact that you never stop learning keeps me excited!

What advice would you give to someone who’s keen to start riding?

My advice is to find a good motorcycle riding school, where you feel comfortable with your instructors - we all start from somewhere. Never give up and your hard work will be rewarded!

Did anyone get you interested in bikes or did your develop on its own?

[Growing up in Greece] I always dreamed of riding bikes but never believed enough in myself to actually walk into that motorcycle school and get that driving license. My boyfriend believed in me and pushed me to be brave and follow my dreams! It was scary at the beginning but the more I rode, the more I enjoyed it.

Tell us about your first experience on two wheels.

I had just bought my first motorcycle, a custom Honda CBF250 from the Bike Shed, and my boyfriend was teaching me how to start, ride and stop the bike. I never thought I’d enjoy changing gears so much!

The next day I went to a riding school in London to start training for my full motorcycle license!

You also create amazing artwork. How would you describe your style?

Pop surreal. I love pastel colours and fantasy mixed with reality. My paintings are usually very detailed using different media on canvas such as oil or acrylic paint, liquid resin, dry flowers and newspapers.

I have periods in my life when I paint all the time and periods of months and months when I don’t feel like painting.

But I definitely feel the need to create all the time. At the moment I’m focusing my creativity on taking cool pictures and videos for my motorcycle Instagram page and trying to finish two motorcycle paintings.

What are you looking forward to right now?

My Level 2 practice at Silverstone track with the California Superbike School, riding the Ducati Supersport S. There’s also DirtQuake in August and lots of other bike adventures that are not confirmed yet, but I’ll keep you updated on my insta.

What would you do on your perfect day?

If I haven’t planned an adventure with my motorcycle already, I’ll think of some silly reason to take my bike out for a ride!

QUICKFIRE

Best bike? The bike I haven’t ridden yet

Favourite ride? Passo della Futa, Bologna. It was an amazing trip I did in Italy with Scrambler Ducati, test riding the new Cafe Racer.

Favourite accessory? My neck fleece as I have a short bob and my neck is always exposed and freezing!

Who’s your hero? Dogs! They are so pure and innocent, make me smile and fill my heart with happiness! We should all try to learn from them and be kind to each other.

Words to live by? Cheese, crisps, let’s ride, training, chilling, spooning, wake.

What are you reading and listening to at the moment? I’m loving SoundCloud at the moment as I like to listen to deep house, electronic DJ remixes and I’m reading a book called 100 illustrators.

What moves you? All those unknown moments in our life that are just around the corner! Taste life, enjoy life and be 100 percent there when it happens.
